Tash (Treasurer)
Bianca (Registrar)

Open Issues
Coaching and Umpire Accounts
A major topic of discussion was the requirement for all coaches to create accounts on the NNA platform. Michael will oversee this process to ensure compliance. Kelsey shared that in the future, similar requirements will likely be instituted for umpires. This shift aims to enhance how the organization functions and promotes accountability.
Social Media Mishap
The group addressed a recent social media incident. Kelsey reported that a concerning post was deleted after Kim brought it to her attention.
Correspondence Protocol
Kim introduced new guidelines for correspondence with NNA. To protect sensitive information, all communications must be approved by her before distribution. This change aims to reinforce security and ensure clarity in all updates sent to members and NNA
Call for Volunteers
NNA is actively seeking volunteers for coaching representative teams and several management and leadership positions. This is a fantastic opportunity for community members to get involved.
New Business and Decisions
Registrations Update
The meeting covered the current registration status, which includes participation from various age categories:
6 participants for ages 9
2 participants for ages 11
8 participants for ages 12
9 participants for ages 13
1 participant for ages 14
6 cadets
5 participants for ages 21
Social Media Exposure
To boost community visibility, the team agreed to implement at least three social media posts weekly throughout January and February. This decision comes as a response to previous engagement levels, which averaged less than one post each week. Increasing our online presence should enhance member relationships and attract new participants.
Communication Strategy
Effective communication with future members became a focus during the meeting. An SMS blast was sent out, and an email blast is planned soon to keep members updated about important information and upcoming events. Clear communication is essential in fostering engagement within the club.
Sample Items
In a lighter moment, samples of new merchandise including socks and scrunchies were shared with meeting participants.
Moving Forward with Excitement
The meeting concluded with a shared enthusiasm about the upcoming season. The executive team feels confident that implementing clearer protocols and enhancing engagement through social media and volunteer opportunities will strengthen our community.
As the season approaches, these efforts are crucial in ensuring all members feel welcomed and involved. Stay tuned for further updates, and be ready for the excitement that lies ahead!
